The Marine Practice of the EMS Division

GWPL Marine is the marine practice of the Energy, Maritime and Security (EMS) Division of Good Worths Partners Limited, headquartered in Abuja, Nigeria. The Division serves clients across energy, maritime and security operations, and the marine practice concentrates that capability on one task: connecting organizations with the vessels, tankers and barges their operations require, on lease or purchase terms that protect them.

We operate a dual model. GWPL Marine deploys owned tonnage and sources assets through our network of owners, operators and yards in Nigeria and internationally, working from your requirement outward in both cases. Whether an asset comes from within our own operation or from the wider market, the standard is identical: particulars and counterparties verified, transactions structured on internationally accepted terms, and every stage documented, from first inquiry to delivery. Our engagements are governed by written mandates and confidentiality undertakings, because a client's requirement is commercial intelligence and we treat it as such.

Operations in Nigerian waters carry their own frameworks, including the Coastal and Inland Shipping (Cabotage) Act and the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Development Act. We factor these frameworks into vessel selection and transaction design from the outset, so that the asset you commit to is one you can lawfully and efficiently deploy.
